Oh you melted the plate to the bowl lol. That’s kinda impressive. It does make me wonder if your bowl was not dishwasher safe to begin with. Things shouldn’t be melting/fusing in the dishwasher.

Let me walk you through my 3 different answers.
Shrinking the bowl and the plate at the same time might just pop the seal when left in the freezer all night. It would only take a couple Crystal forming in the right spot to break that seal.
Blasting air into the seal could potentially resolve the pressure difference holding the bowl to the plate or force enough air into the bowl that it actually builds positive pressure inside and that pops the bowl off as well.
Heating the bowl would get it to expand slightly and cooling the plate would make it shrink slightly so doing them at the same time could cause the perfect seal they have formed to shift enough that it allows the pressure to equalize/release.
It’s less about heating the gas inside the bowl to reverse the vacuum and it’s more about breaking the seal that has formed in the first place.
Someone slept through physics class a few times.
Heat and/or cold would be your friend in this situation.
Personally I would just toss the whole thing in the freezer for the night, but there is a small chance that results in a broken plate in the morning.
If you have an air compressor a blast of air right against the lip of the bowl would probably also pop it off.
Other than that just run hot water over the bowl (or submerge it) and then get the plate cold while being careful to not have the hot water touch the cold plate or visa versa.
Best of luck soldier.
“I am unfortunately still here” is my go-to. People seem to leave you alone if you joke about killing yourself.
It doesn’t matter what anyone does. I don’t actively remember snoozing it or sleeping through it. That shit is on autopilot. I have snoozed an alarm and sent a text to someone without waking up.
The 5 alarms is necessary. I have 3 on my phone and 2 on my Google home because I have slept through 2-3 alarms before. If I am asleep asleep you can pour water on me and I won’t wake up. Shattering glass. Vacuum. Blender. Lights. You name it.
My mom used to have to take my blankets and pillow away. Turn on my lights. Poor water on me and smack me around to get me outta bed at times.
I blame my father. When I was little I would fall asleep and take naps right next to his floor tom while he was practicing with his band. Full volume band practice and I would just pass out into my box of Legos right there next to him.
It is what it is.
This is why I have 5 alarms set at 5 minutes increments. I always always snooze the first one and pass out again immediately. Or I just straight up sleep through it.
That is simply not true. 130kph is the recommended speed. For certain marked stretches of the Autobahn there is no speed limit and it is understood that you do not pull into the left lane without checking for fast moving cars behind you. If they find that you still would have crashed if you had been going 130kph you are unlikely to be held responsible.
She was filming a video at the time and when she woke up in the hospital days later the German police told her what had happened and she was not found to be at fault at all. The deceased person who had pulled into the left lane without checking was entirely at fault. She flew home as soon as the German doctors had done the major surgery to her legs and spine.
My mom’s entire side of the family is German and many of them still live in Germany. Talks about the Autobahn have come up at family gatherings on multiple occasions.
I am willing to admit my data might be out of date, but from a quick Google it appears to still be the same rules.
It’s about 3 times the speed limit for most highways in most places. Give or take.
The stopping distance at those speeds is 500+ meters.
Even with the best tires, brakes and driver that’s several football fields end to end before that car comes to a stop. If anything happens at those speeds it is unlikely the driver will be able to do anything about it in time.
There was a woman that worked for a car magazine that was doing a video on the Autobahn and someone pulled out in front of her around those speeds she instantly killed everyone on the vehicle she hit and she was left permanently injured and barely able to walk. She wasn’t even at fault in that situation either. It’s the job of the people pulling into the fast lane to check for fast moving cars and for whatever reason they didn’t.
You friend is playing a dangerous game with more than their own life.
Yeah not a fan of this day either.
Yeah it’s the computer augmentation of player inputs that I have a problem with. Alternative input methods that are still 1 to 1 with the human player input don’t bother me. I don’t care if it’s gyro or tongue joystick or whatever else.
Like conceptually or in a competitive environment? I think gyro aiming sucks to use personally but for some people who cant use traditional user interfaces I understand it can be revolutionary.
I have no problems with it as it is still just an alternative way to translate the humans input into a direct action. It’s no different than a thumb stick in my eyes.
I don’t want to seem dismissive, but I have had this argument 100s of times with an untold number of people over the years. If you ask any pro FPS player who has played at a top level on both they will all tell you that the two should never cross. At least not in any competitive/ranked situations.
It does not matter what you do. If there is anything altering the players inputs whatsoever those players need to be playing against only other people with those same assists and controls.
Ah thanks for the warning. I won’t waste my time then. Based I their first comment that does appear to be true for this topic at the very least lol.
I can almost guarantee you I know more about the topic and high level fps gaming in general than you do.
It’s April 1st y’all. Keep in in your pants.
As someone who has played competitive FPS games at a highish level in multiple games for most of his life I cannot fathom why they ever combined the two in the first place. Like I obviously understand more players and quicker matchmaking, but at the cost of competitive fairness??? No thanks.
Controllers playing against PC is fine without any any aim assist as that is just straight up a disadvantage for the controller player 99.9999% of the time, but the moment they add any aim assist to the controller it kills competitive integrity.
Controller players should only ever go up against other controller players if any amount of aim assistance is turned on and same goes for mouse and keyboard. That shit should not be on consoles and allowed to play against controllers for any reason.
I pretty much dropped Apex Legends entirely just because I wasn’t having fun anymore. I was a diamond player on M+KB and getting laserbeamed from across the map by a controller player just was not fun. Just like I am sure they hated getting hit by a nasty flick only possible with a mouse.
Player input uniformity is one of my biggest gaming gear grinding situations. It’s especially problematic with my favorite genre of games: competitive FPS games.
The smell/taste senses are very closely related and cross paths in the brain somewhat.
If you ever want to freak yourself out plug your nose while you eat some of your favorite foods and only exhale slowly while chewing. It’ll taste all sorts of weird.
My guess is the smell outside is interfering with what your brain is used to from the smell inside while drinking tea.
On one hand I’m allergic to bees (not deadly but definitely dangerous for me), but on the other hand I kinda want the world to continue to have life on it… It’s a real struggle who I’m rooting for here.
Kidding kidding.
Says the company that has said this about every single version of their glass for the last 10+ years?
Don’t get me wrong I love how durable and scratch resistant modern phone screens are compared to the first ones, but let’s not kid ourselves. These are tiny incremental improvements each generation at this point.
…how else would people around me know what direction I’m about to move 2+ tons of metal???
I can’t stand how often I see people changing lanes or taking turns with ZERO blinker usage. Selfish short sighted fucks.
