    thats exactly it, have requested paxlovid from your physician? i heard it can help. cpc mouthwash works on covid in the mouth, or you can try getting numbing spray.

      Unfortunately, I don’t have insurance so I don’t currently have a GP. But oh numbing spray! I forgot all about that! I’ll have to get some of that. Thank you for the recommendations!

        you can also take throat lozenges, like cepacol and mucinex, they have a numbing agent(not just menthol) that would numb your throat too.(benzocaine and hexlysorcionol.)
