Remember! Getting it on Physical media and using #SaveStarTrekProdigy will genuinely help - this comes from the mouth of the show’s crew!
Janeway is my favorite part of Prodigy. I had a vague notion she was on the show, but when she made her appearance, I was “Janeway! \o/”
I avoid talk, trailers, and everything else for new Trek I want to see. I want the first time I see something to be in the correct context, and to be somewhat of a surprise. Makes it more fun.
It ain’t over til it’s over. I’m expecting s02 one way or the other, and I’m hoping for more after that.
I was so sad to see it got cancelled. I was really enjoying Prodigy, and was looking forward to season 2.
Captain Janeway deserved to spend the rest of her miserable life on a penal colony for murdering Tuvix. Now that’s a show I would watch! Plus, Kate Mulgrew is good at prison shows. #justice4tuvix
I applaud you for a genuinely hot take. I completely disagree with you, but applaud you nonetheless.
Listen Tuvix was an annoying little goblin person and everyone justifiably hated him, but that doesn’t mean he deserved to be cold-bloodedly murdered by Janeway as he begged desperately for his life. #justice4tuvix
She should have finished the job and spaced Neelix after the split.
Neelix was one of the best characters on Voyager and I will stand by that assertion forever.
I also think that Ethan Phillips was one of the best actors in the bunch too.
Episodes like “Jetrell” and “Mortal Coil” still move me every time I see them. Dude is amazing at playing a very damaged person hiding (in part) behind a mask of joviality. Neelix was truly a good hearted man who loved his crew, but those times when the mask slipped really showed what a complex individual he was.
Neelix is the worst character in Star Trek. I hate him more than Kai Winn. But Winn is well written as a hateable villain, while Neelix is supposed to be likeable but he just isn’t. He groomed Kes, regularly poisoned the crew because of his absolute refusal to take feedback, and contributed absolutely nothing positive to the mission.
I think you mean to say that she deserved a medal.
At least we get one more season. Maybe.
I really enjoyed both variations of Janeway in Prodigy and was hoping for a few more seasons. If not in Prodigy, I hope Janeway’s story is continued on in some form.
