No new map, no new hero, no real meaningful change. Just skins and questwatch, which is literally just you unlocking audio clips and… not much else.

Oh and the three new “gamemodes” is just an arcade mode with 3 ways to queue up.

    What a joke.

I played Overwatch 2 for a bit after it relaunched and honestly just struggled to get much enjoyment out of it. It’s weird that a game with so many unique characters feels so lifeless

Yeah it just felt really flat to me.

I played the first version so much going all the way back to the beta and even that was already feeling really stale and like it had lost some of it’s charm. I was going OW2 would freshen it up a but I really just feel nothing towards it

This might be against the grain but as an avid overwatch player I don’t think overwatch needs to be inundated with content to stay alive, I think it’d be far healthier for them to make the existing content enjoyable. They have enough heroes, they have enough maps. They should be polishing those heroes and maps (which they did do this season, the changes to watchpoint are really good but the map was already really good, they need to focus on fixing things that are terrible lol).

It isn’t about keeping it alive or improving the game, it’s about milking the idiots who keep shelling out money and defending battlepasses + mtx, once the money runs out they’ll just kill it and move on.
