Originally, it is a Hindu chant praising one of Hinduism’s Gods. Violent Hindu supremacists have turned this into a call for violence, it is now a much feared war cry… Much like ‘Allahu Akbar’ which means ‘Allah is great’ was turned by Islamic terrorists into their war cry.

So I don’t know a lot about that region. What do Hindu supremacists believe (aside from the obvious supremacy part)?

        They believe in

        1. using violence to terrorize anyone who disagrees with them
        2. using gangrape as a legitimate tool to terrorize women, including women journalists, into silence
        3. terrorizing Muslims and Christains and burning mosques & churches and holy books
        4. anyone opposing them is a terrorist Khalistani communist jihadi liberal naxal maoist (often, all at the sam time)
        5. dehumanizing people from oppressed communities/ castes like Dalits & Adivasis
        6. purity of cow’s urine and eating cow’s poop and encourage people to consume it

        They don’t believe in

        1. democracy
        2. peace
        3. diversity
        4. equality
        5. secularism
        6. mutual respect

Some of those points are outright ridiculous, but they are very conservative of their ideals. They consider those who oppose them, looking at Muslims here, terrorists and satanists (whatever the Hindu equivalent of that may be). And the caste system is a different debate.

Some important points you missed out on- they treat women horribly. They hate anything western unless they rely on it. Modest clothing, no PDA, absolutely no LGBT, boycotting english medium schools and so on. I used to think the majority of people who supported this were the less fortunate, but there are quite a few middle class conservatives.

            Which points are ridiculous?

When have Muslims opposed them? Haven’t Muslims only reacted in self-defence? and now they’ve stopped doing even that.

There is no satanism in Hinduism, satan is a Christian concept and shaitan is a Muslim concept. There are asuras and rakshas in Hinduism, but Hindu supremacists don’t consider Muslims to be those, They call Muslims ‘Aurangzeb ki aulad’ after the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb. Even though the mahant of Kashi Vishwanath asserts that Modi destroyed more temples with his KV corridor than Aurangzeb in his lifetime.

Hindu supremacists, let me remind you we’re talking about supremacists, oppose Muslims for being muslims. And Muslim supremacists do the same, adding fuel to fire. Same with other religions, though i haven’t kept up with Christianity-Hindu stuff. It’s a lot of nonsense I don’t quite care about.

I will not mention which parts are ridiculous, I want you to look at your radical points yourself. Hindu supremacists aren’t inhuman, just people who do the wrong things because they’ve been raised that way. That being said, your account is filled with politics and I don’t want to argue with you- I’m sorry.

Edit: I didn’t go through the news articles you linked. Two reasons, the temples that were destroyed might have not been documented and there were fewer temples built around that time, again according to documentation, which is unreliable. But you are correct, it is possible that Modi destroyed more temples than he did. The reason for the destruction of all these temples hasn’t been provided though and again, this makes no sense.

                1. Hindu supremacists, let me remind you we’re talking about supremacists, oppose Muslims for being muslims.

All my comment have been about Hindu supremacists. They hate Muslims for being Muslims. Hate, not oppose, its hate! Their hate makes them lynch Muslims while making them chant JSR or sing ‘Vande mataram’.

There is no Christian-Hindu stuff, It is Hindu supremacists hating Christians for being Christians. Thats what the ongoing ethnic & communal cleansing in Manipur is about. The hate is why they denuded, paraded naked, and gangraped the women in the video that recently went viral. Hate is why they chopped off David Thiek’s head and displayed it on the wall of bamboo poles.

During the farmers protest, the same Hindu supremacists even hated farmers for being farmers.

That is what majoritarianism is about. it is about hating, oppressing, and villianising minorities.

                1. None of my points are ridiculous or radical. They are factual. Unless you can contest them with credible data, they’ll stand.

Hindu supremacists were certainly born human, their actions make them monstrous. Whether they were raised that way or braiinwashed by whatsapp university, godimedia, or their society this is the path they choose. That’s on them because the social media they use to absorb hate also has democracy, inclusivity, compassion, and fraternity that they choose to ignore.

My account is filled with news and views on politics because that is what I want to talk about. Should I talk about rainbows & waterfalls when the country I love is burning and my people are being dehumanised and killed?

                1. Edit: I didn’t go through the news articles you linked.

Then please educate yourself before putting your thoughts on the subject.

its purely fundamentalism, and a very violent and barbaric one at that.

Iran, also a fundaentalist state, is friendly with fundamentalist India. Birds of a feather…
