So how can one help beehaw lighten the load? So the fediverse doesn’t break before the real alternative for reddit is fragmented in 1000s of bubbles.

    You don’t need a few big bubbles(instances.)

    What you need is a well organized search database of communities that belong to thousands of different instances (and need a more streamlined way of subscribing to these communities from each instance).

    Since any instance can essentially connect to another (unless blocked by administrators), you can have tons of these communities distributing the traffic evenly so nobody is bogged down and still access so of the communities across the fediverse.
