Overhead?
I know from working in manufacturing, at least, that people like to abuse excel and try to use it as a DB client
CBD was unfortunately on the ban list when he got in trouble. It was only just removed a decade later in 2019.
It’s also one of the few chemicals in cannabis that can affect performance, unlike THC which just bugs me. Like they are almost picking and choosing, purely to just be finicky
I would say that rule should only apply to purposefully taking something for an unfair advantage to juke the competition, like most steroids.
For the ones where the only reported reasoning is being harmful to the user or has a potential for abuse, I would say the decision be on a case by case basis.
My reasoning is that there are also people who’ve turned their lives around and quit the substances in question. Being banned when you are fully “legit” would be extremely demotivational and can increase relapsing. It could also be controversial to one of the ideals of the Olympics; overcoming adversity to be the best you can be.
They don’t really mention if it’s illegal or not to their reasoning. They only use three parameters for the decision.
They argue for points 2 (health risk) and 3 (commonly abused), both of which cigarettes and alcohol fit right in, but are unrestricted.
That would make sense if they were looking for CBD, which is the chemical that causes the relaxing effect of weed, not THC which more or less just gives the “high” feeling. You can easily get CBD from hemp and WADA actually removed it from their ban list in 2019.
There are also plenty of allowed substances that can help you relax, even prescription-only. They would have to ban things like; alcohol (never gonna happen), dramamine (antiemetic), diphenhydramine (antihistamine), gabapentin (anticonvulsant, Rx-only), etc… These, while primarily used for other purposes, all are occasionally used for their sedating effects and to my knowledge are all allowed.
There was also the argument that while yes, it does help with relaxing, it will actually decrease performance on the whole.
Meanwhile Sha’Carri (US running) was DQ’d previously for having THC in her system. Still trying to wrap my head around how pot can help you run faster.
They weren’t concerned about CBD or anything else, just the psychoactive THC.
Klarna is permanently on my do not trust list, as what I experienced told me they can’t manage their system correctly. And for someone who can put a derogatory mark on your credit, I’m not risking it.
(Bear in mind when I got the first email, just to be safe, I paid off the remaining balance the Friday of that week.)
I figured they caught and corrected it, so no harm, no foul.
When I tried using them at the end of the month however, (I think for upgrading my comp) they rejected my finance request. I wasn’t sure, but I had my suspicions it was due to their fuck-up as I only used them once.
3 weeks later, they sent this.
Simply commenting that this photo is just asking to be shooped
Even if it were free, the possibility of having your pet forced into quarantine while traveling is already a deterrent to flying with pets.
Yes. Let’s just ignore that pets can have or carry different diseases, even zoonotic ones.
There are four lights!!!
Why can’t they just fix the simple bug of having to open the app ,close it down, then reopen it just to connect to your setup? A simple ‘wait’ line of code would do wonders.
That wasn’t a bullet. That was just the braincell he’s been hoarding from the tabbies
True. The suffix -free has had so much liberal (not the party) use that when manufacturers use it, it now just means there isn’t enough for most people to detect/respond to it.
Now if someone none the wiser with an allergy or particularly strong sensitivity to something were to try that something, they get a trip to the ER.
About the limits in the US. Meandering through a store during a heat wave, I saw that the upper limit appears to be half a percent. Meaning you still could get buzzed ,just would be peeing more; a lot more.

Anything less than 0.5%abv, I think. (Unless, non-alcoholic is classed different)
Wasn’t that before they switched to LGA though?
That I would just truly savor. Her calling out each and every lie that oozes out what he calls a mouth.
I see those as good, pretty much only if you are hurting for cash while being unemployed and looking. (And given that most if not all states in the US are at-will, you can resign when you find a better position.)
