

Check out c/degoogle@lemmy.ml, they have some software recommendations for degoogling.
Since you have a Pixel you should be able to install GrapheneOS, which removes a lot of Google services and is a lot more secure.
I would also recommend FreeTube, which is ad-free and has the feature to download videos like YT premium. You can even import your subscriptions.

We finally got our music server set up after a lot of finagling with wireguard. It’s really cool; we have slsk-dl set up to batch download our playlists from Soulseek, which we can then play in Jellyfin. Next I’m gonna set up Nextcloud for backing up photos, projects, the whole shebang.
