I haven’t used it in a while, so I don’t know if it still works, but the one I had is called Buycott.

Completely unrelated, but your comment reminded me of this old meme that always cracked me up
Thanks for expanding my vocab! “Screed” is a great word for his insane ramblings.
Not being able to give support to friends and family will feel really weird.
I see it as being liberated. Besides, while it’ll suck to be unable to fix their problems, if it gets bad enough that they consider other operating systems, you’ll be right there to help them switch!
Never heard of the greengrocer’s apostrophe so I looked it up. https://www.thoughtco.com/what-is-a-greengrocers-apostrophe-1690826
I absolutely love that there’s a group called the Apostrophe Protection Society. Is there something like that for the Oxford Comma? I’d gladly join them!
I nominate Steven Ogg for the task.
Thankfully the chances of that happening would be reduced by the difference between the solar system’s ecliptic place vs that of the Milky Way. According to this Stack Exchange user, it’s a 60.2-degree difference. Illustrated beautifully here.
Then again, it isn’t called a “cloud” for nothing. Still, a large chunk of it is theorized to be aligned with the plane of the solar system.
I would also imagine other countries bordering Russia might take notice.
It would be kinda funny if Finland started moving stuff toward the border near St. Petersburg, just to troll putin / make him waste resources in kind.
There are dozens of us!
This is really cool, thanks for sharing!
You can find plenty of ISO files on archive.org. I’m not sure about the legality of it, so I’ll say I don’t condone doing it, etc. But some of them have been there for several years, so I think MS doesn’t care.
Just be careful about clinking links in the user comments. People have been known to post shady links and moderation seems to be lacking, from what I’ve seen.
Good luck getting your game to run! Oh, and long live archive.org!
I have a virtual machine with WinXP and one with 98, for when I’m feeling nostalgic :)
Sorry to hear you have to use Windows… I’m still stuck on 10 but I’ve been enjoying the hell out of Mint Xfce and I’ll complete the move soon enough!
Safe from Ukraine maybe. I’m hoping for a pod of orcas to find them!
I was just talking to a friend, and I also used “jaded”. It’s the perfect word to describe my feelings. In any other timeline I’d allow myself slightly more hopefulness.
I don’t know nearly enough to determine if I should be excited, but I feel like we need to start walking up a lot of sleeping people. (It sounds like) it’s finally happening!
I’ll definitely give the web UI a shot since I’m already quite familiar with A1111 and it seems they’re trying to recreate the same look and feel. Thank you for the info!
I’ve been wanting to run that one on my hardware but GPT4All just refuses to start its GUI. The only thing is a “chat.exe” that sits idle in the task manager. And this is an issue I’ve seen reported in their Github from several users, on both Win 10 and 11.
Have you find success with that frontend, or are you using one that actually works? I haven’t researched any others since this issue has me a little burnt out.
👏 I hope more people appreciate your joke. It reminds me of Norm!
When I read your comment, I internalized “sorted” as “sordid.” I guess either one works!
