It must be the taxes! You know, the ones they either already don’t pay or wouldn’t pay if they could read literally any details about the proposed tax.

Yes, because the disaster that is the stock market is really going to prove anything. Economies work best when small amounts change hands often and all these people who deal in stocks care about are big numbers and getting in on the action of stealing more and more money.
They’re excited about lower taxes, removal of regulation, and the ability to further exploit the working class for short term gain. That’s all. If they actually gave a shit about having a strong economy they’d be paying their people well enough to supporty and not be chasing infinite growth in a finite system.
They’re different, even if they’re very similar. The important part is that they look different, too, because if you talked about all the white immigrants taking the white-collar jobs people would have to actually think beyond just a face-value assessment. Brown is bad is a lot easier than person over there could be anything so I need to talk to them and form even a basic relationship with them to figure out what’s going on and by then I might not be able to hate them so absolutely.
“Both sides both sides”
Hey, bud, your opinion is trash and you can shut the hell up literally any time. It’s free!
There could have been a crash in both situations but if they go through with what they promised the “worse” won’t begin to describe it.
“For fun”
Yea, sure. Hey, you know what else is fun…
Hell yea! That’s something! Ultimately no one can be deprogrammed in a day and that’s a solid start. Most of these people have been driven by fear for so long that just getting them to admit Trump is also a danger is a big step out of the hole they’re in.
Yea with the amount of USB-A stuff still in circulation everyone dropping it early was so fuckin’ weak. That’ll shit’ll still be useful a decade from now.
Oh sick! That’s at least a great place to start and Imm excited for you! I hope it goes well :)
I’m not sure I can offer any links but the information is absolutely out there. You should also look into rates of policing in different neighbourhoods and, since they care so much about corruption, point how much white-collar financial crime and stuff is done by white dudes.
But most importantly you gotta understand that they didn’t get there by following logic and it will be very difficult to use objectivity to pull them out an argument where being objective is not important to them.
How so, in this case? We can’t very well say that someone who’s been charged but not found guilty shouldn’t be allowed to keep or run for an office. The issue is that there are people who may still vote for him despite the evidence before them but that’s more a question of individual stupidity than anything to do with laws. It’s the same way Trump is allowed to run but every single person who who’s even on the fence has shown that they’ve got mush for brains.
I like how it’s not obvious who’s talking and it doesn’t matter.
I know that. I literally said that there are many times where the doors are closed for decent stretchs of time and last time I opened my car doors I don’t remember 100% of the cold air rushing out but maybe I forgetting something.
Spend more time thinking and less time trying to justify why essential workers shouldn’t have basic comforts.
Wow, rough! Anyway, you should probably go to therapy to figure out why the fuck you said that out loud, or least spend do some introspection.
Besides, that’s not how it works. They are places of refuge for mail carriers as much as transportation. If they’re in the country they’ll be doing more driving and in the city they park and walk around with bags before returning to drive to the next area. A/C will help in both situations.
Turns out what you wanted was financial stability and to not feel like you’d end up on the street. That doesn’t cancel out what should be a very basic expectation of baseline respect from employers and fair pay, though, so here we all are rightly pissed-off.
I know it’s an old joke but they really are considering it more of a Geneva Checklist, it seems.
I hold fast to the idea that if you want to find the dumbest person in the room you only need to look up the chain. The higher you go the dumber, more outwardly over-confident, and more disastrously insecure and fragile they get.
This work will have lots of applications in the future. I personally stay as far away from it as I can because I just have zero need for it to write souless birthday card messages for me but to act like the work is doing nothing is kinda stupid.
Every stage it’s been at people would say “oh this can’t even do X” and then it could and they’d so “oh it can’t do Y” and then it could and they’d say…do I really need to go on?
The biggest issue with it all right, for me anyway, now is that we’re trying to use it for the absolute dumbest shit imaginable and investors are throwing tonnes of money, that could solve real problems we don’t need AI for, into the grinder while poverty and climate change run rampant around us.
Haha fuck yea!
It just says “world@…” for me. Are we seeing the same thing? And the description I read says it’s about “events happening around the world” which is pretty vague but doesn’t immediately scream that it needs to be international news.
Edit: I see it’s tucked into the logo. I dunno, I don’t put high priority into a logo.
Your point about the debate thing is really what gets me. They ask a question and the person on the other end might be close to the answer or they might give some vague response but the moderators are always gutless about it.
“I asked you this question, answer it or we will assume you have no answer and move on.”
