It’s a pretty terrible feature then. Feature is a weird word
That’s the… first… thing… that’s… ever gone wrong.
Democracy is a continuum, and we trade individual rights for collective benefits, like making healthcare and education free (and compulsory) for a better society. Americans just didn’t read the contract and individuals are now fucked over in favour of the state and its oligarchs. You can disagree with me if you’re an anarcho-syndicalist but my comparison relates to current, existing democracies (e.g. Belgium, Australia)
I don’t get upset about people not voting, I just believe democracy works better in countries where voting is compulsory. Also, a much easier change that few would oppose is that election day should be on the weekend. Well, the Jews and Christians might fight it out, but they both suck.
We’ve had enough Batman movies too tbh

Dude, it’s a party politics problem really, compounded by corrupt electoral bullshit like the electoral college, gerrymanderind and malapportionment. The two party nominees at any election have never been the parties’ best and/or brightest.
Having a bugger hanging off your nostril isn’t shameful, it’s weirdly impressive
Solid agree, but it’s so hard to persuade the brainwashed (let alone their capitalist masters) that the purpose of economic growth should be to generate sufficient leisure time to permit self-actualising activities for those who seek them.
My blood runs cold! My dignity has just been sold. nVidia is the centerfold.
Allowed under policy, not de jure!
Exaggerated handwringing, they overstated the extent and severity, and this article is probably doing the same
Not in New York.
Can’t convict someone if their actions don’t break the letter of the law either
Except not a convicted rapist.
Because on face value it looks like an anti-abortion lyric.
*counsel you. I’m picturing a police officer comforting a suspect who’s sobbing with a hand on their shoulder haha.
