“Alleged”? How could you accidentally leave heavy equipment on someone else’s property? They trespassed.

Imagine if you showed someone your coin collection, and they asked, “Why’s that penny special?”
“…It was someone’s last paycheck.”
It was more the dicks showing up in class unprompted. Then, it was people sharing links to shock sites. Now we have to worry about people stealing information. That was always a thing, it’s just a lot more common now.
Edit: I also have to admit, I remember helping the teacher enough with their computer to get Admin privileges by using their console. It was literally stuff liking helping them make a PowerPoint full-screen. I’d download games and then dispense them through little known shared files on the network (usually old forgotten projects). I’d also save shortcuts to google proxies. In hindsight, that was exactly the kind of thing they’re probably trying to stop. I was pirating stuff at a young age. I definitely could’ve downloaded malware and shared it with the network.
I said the opposite of what I meant, my bad. I didn’t want to doxx myself and I tripped up.
I meant to say late. Are you gen z and getting old aswell? (Not an insult, I’m legit asking)
I’m the oldest of Gen z (late 1990s). I have two younger siblings who are also Gen Z. Typing was a skill we learned in middleschool/ elementary. When I was about 8, we learned how to use google because it was considered a great resource to find information. By the time my middle sibling was in similar classes, they moved away from Google due to NSFW search results. When my youngest sibling was in school, they worried about shock sites.
They’ve slowly been removing computers from the school curriculum because of fear of outside forces. That includes typing, sadly. This is all coming from someone who grew up in a Plato self self education plan. (Online, self studies)

Now cops can pretend trans people are hiding their “identity” for representing themselves, again.
Given the fact they can be conscripted at age 18, they probably are.
When you’re out, use DEET and cover yourself. Try to only apply it to your clothes. It’s toxic to humans. Are you out a lot? If so, I’d be worried about ticks and toxic plants as well.
If you have control of the land around you, make sure there’s no stagnant water nearby. If you want to keep a pond, manage your mosquito population using local species if possible. In some places, you can also report stagnant bodies of water.
If they’re inside, check your window screens. If you can’t afford that, use a mosquito net and check my first answers.

He said it, not me. I’d post it, but I like my dog.
Bumpstocks are oldshit in comparison to “super safeties.” They push the trigger forward after you shoot. So you just squeeze, and you get quick individual trigger pulls at close to an automatic rate. It’s also easier to aim. Also, it’s a tiny piece you can 3d print. Also, I’m NOT linking it.
Dude, hormone blockers exist. They don’t have any advantages if they’re on hormones/ hormone blockers.
Edit: I’ll die on this hill. Enjoy being evil the future.
Have you ever heard of Veterans Row? (I don’t support Russia)
It’s across the street from the VA in Westwood. It’s also right next to a really dangerous intersection, and people will plow into their tents. There was supposed to be a campus there, so people lived their in protest/ to have access to the VA. I used to live in a cheap sublet around the corner from them during the pandemic. It was strange how bougie the area was in contrast. The “war on homelessness” turned into a war on the homeless.
I’m surprised, this is a surprise. Living in the US, Mexico has forced conscription just south of us for a while. We’ve also had a draft. All that being said, you made a lot of good points. We should probably credit the people who came up with this a LONG time ago.
Wait, are you joking?
I agree! I like how we’re continuing the thread in a different comment chain. I’m this guy: https://lemmy.world/comment/10422461
It’s nice to talk to someone who seeds content. It’s been a while.
This is my experience being gen z dating any millennial. I’m honestly jealous that they got to experience films in a more communicative and iconic way.
Web UI for touch screens is a lot different than keyboard and mouse. I still switch to desktop most of the time because the mobile site will lack critical info, though. They “have” to streamline the experience for mobile, but I hate it when they fully remove features.
