AndromedusGalacticus@lemm.eeto No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•What are tankies? What does sea-lioning mean?English3·2 years agoYep, I think you’re right. I can probably bypass this with a link shortener, but it’s not worth selling out people’s data. Just copy and paste it if you’re running into issues.

AndromedusGalacticus@lemm.eeto No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•When we go swimming and spend extended time in water, do the little bugs who live on our skin suffocate and die?English1·2 years agoYeah, I’m aware. There were like 10 comments with no replies, so I thought it’d be fun to see what the Chatbot would say. I didn’t take its answer too seriously, but I knew people might be sensitive to the answer. It would have been unfair of me to not say that it was though. Now people can at least decide whether or not to discard the information by providing a “source”.

The answer is: not necessarily. Most of the bacteria on our skin are adapted to living in wet environments, so they will not suffocate. However, some bacteria may be washed away or killed by the chlorine in the pool.
AndromedusGalacticus@lemm.eeOPto Selfhosted@lemmy.world•Okay, be honest everyone, is there really anything that is as powerful as plexamp's sonic analysis, and track radios? I'm using Navidrome, but it is not even remotely the same thing.English1·2 years agoMusicbrainz isn’t a music streaming server though? I’ve used it to tag everything with mood, and bpm, but I’m not aware of any selfhosted music server that utilizes it.
P.S. It seems like you’ve responded to this post 3 other times.
AndromedusGalacticus@lemm.eeto Selfhosted@lemmy.world•Spotify Alternative for streaming server1·2 years agoI’ve used Plex, Jellyfin, and Navidrome. I’m currently using Navidrome, but Plexamp is a massively better product for discovering/interacting with your library. The sonic analysis really takes it to another level.
Something worth mentioning is that android auto will not work for graphene. I was so on board until that. It’s understandable why that’s the case though.
