im pretty neutral on it maybe theres a god maybe there isnt doesnt make a difference me people can believe what they want as long as its not actively harming them or others
I read during my breaks or when i have nothing to do pretty much anywhere its why i personally prefer digital books over physical ones
Same here accually having convesations with people has been pretty fun and ive yet to see anything not civil for now wich is a plus
From what i understand the karma system was meant to be a way to encourage people to be active early on to drive even more traffic to the site but as it went on it definitely devolved into a popularity contest like you said

same here im accually interacting with people instead of just lurking i think the community aspect helps but for me its also thw fact theres less users around so the chances of accually having a decent conversation is higher
Currently reading Hitch hikers guide to the galaxy really fun reads though it got weird in some places
platforms dont have a moral obligations to host opinions it is one thing when someone says something sane but unpopular and gets themselfs booted thats not good however extremist opinions such as nazism have no place on a decent platform look at what happened to voat and basically every other platform promoting free speech people who got booted off moderated platforms go there to spread their hate and destroy the site
