My native language isn’t English, so for me as a teen back then it was definitely the second option.

I would never read a Danish translation of an English novel. I i would even prefer an English translation if it’s in a language I can’t read.
I started reading in English in my early teens, and it stuck.
Same here, heh.
I just followed some instructions I found for steam tinker launch. I do remember having some issues getting it working at first, but I got it up and running and it’s been working since. Can’t remember exact steps though, I’m afraid.
If you’re going to be using the script extender, some of the most obvious mods to check if it works are Native Camera Tweaks and WASD. They’re also, IMO, some of the most important mods to improve the experience.
I’m using vortex through steamtinkerlaunch, and it’s working as expected. If you haven’t tried that, give it a go.
I’m planning on getting it in a steam sale. I guess it’ll have to get to steam first.
Got any examples? I’ve been a crpg fan since my teens, but there’s so many I haven’t tried. Any game that deserve success more than bg3 is a game I should probably give a shot!
I would be surprised if it released in 2026.
It is clearly 28800.
This is exactly it. I used to use them Joey app daily, and had it opened permanently on my pc as well. Now it’s on an as needed case, when searching.
Come back when it’s a no-longer-frozen chicken.
I guess it’s about time to look into Linux again. I’ve run it on and off since the late 90’s, but always end up back on Windows because of games.
Not currently using Reddit, but I started out with baconreader, and have been using Joey for a few years now.
It’s fun to see this still ongoing. Back in the usenet days of yore I remember joining in on spreading the rumour about a cow level in Diablo on the alt.games.diablo channel. It was great to see the nods in both Hellfire and future Diablo games.
I just played it again again earlier this year. It’s still a fantastic game, that everyone should play!
I wholeheartedly second Fallout 1 & 2. Arcanum somehow avoided my notice back in the day, but I’m planning on playing it soon.
Talk about jumping the gun with that announcement. I’ll honestly be a bit surprised if we see the game this decade.
I bought a 7800x3d, so I’m not in the market for a new CPU for years to come. If I hadn’t already bought it, I’d buy it now.
