much more important: we’d be years ahead with storage technology.
I’m no expert either but I never got the idea of a new universe popping up everytime. Do other universes also cause popups of new universes or just ours? That’d escalate quickly :-)
I thought it goes that there’s already infinite universes existing from the big bang on. Otherwise universes would be created without big bang. (The new universe would just pop up and you’d still believe it was created by the big bang but there never was one)
Also I’m not sure if laws of thermodynamics had to span accross universes. Take two theoretical perfect vacuum/radiation sealed boxes you put an energy source into. There’s no way to communicate between boxes. Each box had it’s own entropy and state of energy. Both would obey the laws of physics while being separate “systems”.
That thought experiment wouldn’t work, if new boxes had to pop up if one of the boxes wanted to.
why would alternative universes share a single source of energy? couldn’t each have their own?
your own fault. get a nuclear reactor next time d’uh…
“Captain, the front shields fell off.”
Also consider that you’re arguing from high grounds.
While we will read/hear/agree majorly about the true origin of COVID eventually, in places like Russia there’s no open discourse ever or discussing sensitive topics is dangerous and almost only happens between closely related people behind closed doors. There is almost no development of public opinion beyond closed online discussions outside of echo chambers.
If the USSR would still exist, russians & east germans would still believe that AIDS/HIV was manufactured by the USA although even the worst critcis of the US have agreed on proof, that it must have developed outside of labs.
also free speech and independent media civilizations tend to provide more attack surface. so countering it is inefficient and only resilience really helps.
luckily it’s not very subtle and rarely hard to spot.
so russians actually do have war heroes this time. and it’s a girl.
it’s a machine gun.
If russia hates neo nazis so much, why is it funding them all over the world? Either they are plain stupid or they are plain out lying to you.
Neo nazis love putin and russia has a decent historical track record as liar and for revisionistic history.
Does Ukraine have a problem with neo nazi groups?
tbf, most western european countries have a problem with neo nazis. And we all know which country is funding far-right parties…
it’s not ukraine
russia: “the WHAT…?”

I dislike basically everything after Enterprise but this is… not too bad. I’d say it’s maybe a bit like “Simpsons meets Star Trek”. Definetly worth to check out a few episodes to see if you like it. If you like the jokes, you’re in for a cool ride.
His transformation during the series is interesting. He’s developing as he learns about humanity.
Also don’t miss the episodes in Voyager featuring him ;-)
She played Beverly Crusher
Gates McFadden is clearly the unsung Hero of the series for me.
Both as character and as actress.
Didn’t he prefer theatrical acting & live audience and thus played his TV role like a theater actor would? I vaguely remember reading about it.
Those tend to traditionally exaggerate gesture, mimic and tone so the last row still gets everything even when they’re further away.
