Good to know, thanks! I wasn’t aware passwords on chrome are not encrypted.
I’ll have to take a look into cost of 1password and Bitwarden, and see if any of them have password import features from Chrome to make the switch easy
I use Chrome password manager. Is there any difference to this vs. Bitwarden or other services? Chrome is super convenient since it suggests passwords in browser while signing up and auto-inputs them to apps/websites cross platform. And also integrates with GBoard to quickly search password to copy into a field.
Not sure if Bitwarden has any additional features other than the benefit of not keeping all my info with Google. Or if it’s less convenient and I have to go into the Bitwarden app or something everytime to look up or generate passwords?
I’m a fan, especially the eyes got more personality to it
This is one of the homescreens of all time
I like the design but definitely the lights still seem like huge gimmick. I don’t see the value of getting this over other midrange options like the pixel 7a
Honestly just the fact that the protest gave awareness to viable reddit alternatives is good enough. And the blackout helped in that regard to force users to search for alternatives (like me). Obviously subs will be forced back open, but people have options now with whole communities here that literally did not exist weeks ago.
Awesome news! I have been a Sync user for the past literally 10 years
Tbh because it was cheap when I was younger, and now I don’t really see a need to switch to iPhone (and have thus never used one). I like the photography on Pixel and also the UI better than iOS.
does it work for you outside of the app? like if you are casting to for example a google nest hub, and on your phone try to change the nest hub’s volume while browsing other stuff.
Curious why but another phone (which would be on Android 13 or older) vs downgrading P7Pro back to Android 13?
Pixel 7 user here, battery could be better but that’s about it - super satisfied otherwise. Also have the pixel buds pro, and use a Mac + iPad (although I’d take a look at the pixel tablet if I didn’t). Super satisfied!
Used to use Samsung Galaxy S22, and there’s a lot of small software features missing there which added up. Ex: volume control for cast device did not work on samsung (had to control volume manually from the app rather than volume buttons). All the calling features (call screen, hold for me, etc), astrophotography, slow camera shutter speed (on default settings), and general UI/UX I prefer on Pixel over Samsung.
Yeah I’ve been kind of browsing both reddit and Lemmy for awhile, but over time in getting super tired of the constant boring/obvious AITAH and just teenage relationship advice spam that floods the frontpage. Definitely has made me open reddit less, and really just for specific communities I can’t find elsewhere.
