That’s a good looking menu. Thank you
My old server is a HP Microliant.
What I love about it, is it turns back on automatically after a power out.
I don’t know what magic is in there, but the power goes out, as it can at times, and when power is restored, the old girl just starts up again.
I’m travelling at the moment, and have it at my parents house under a desk. It’s been there over 1.5 years and haven’t had to have anyone physically touch it.
When it eventually dies, the next machine will definitely have to have that feature.
Gnome has been pissing me off for a while. Time to take a try of kde
Local here. We all use Linux desktop. Libre office. Gimp. Krita. Inkscape. Vscodium. Thunderbird. Sublime. Etc etc. We have a programmer who favoured Windows. We finally converted him. Now we only have the mac laptop to deal with having to do osx builds.
Agreed.
OP, I have a Gen 6 X1 carbon and I struggled for about a year or so to get the fingerprint scanner working, and in the end I just asked chat GPT. In one line it got it working for me. So try that. Fingerprint scanner has been working ever since perfectly.
I’m running a Gen 6 carbon X1 and I use pop-os on it and it’s an absolute dream. I can only imagine a Gen 10 would be really, really, really, really nice.
The wattles are thick with buds that will be blooming soon. That means trout fishing time!
I was honestly looking at one. No more.
Are there any open source alternatives?
I strongly disagree, they should go in with an absolute baby beginner distro first, learn all about how it works from a user’s level, and then they can go back and start building up from scratch with arch.
I run it on many of my devices, but I am absolutely waiting this one out to see just how useful it is, what’s missing, what’s not, and until it’s ready to be a daily driver. Very exciting.
Was wondering the same thing
I feel like we should be promoting the fork that was created during the drama some years ago, rather than audacity. They really have lost faith in the community and every time they are mentioned, basically there is no love.
I just can’t remember the name of the fork.
I have and it was amazing but I don’t own one and I’ve never used it as a controller on the Linux PC.
I quite like a good ps4 controller
I just updated to the latest Thunderbird via flat pack this week and now when I click on mail to links Thunderbird says that it is already open and it can’t open the link.
This is a total bummer really because in reality it’s going to be a relatively long time until the next release. I might see if I can roll back to the previous version.
Thank you. I’m out. I have no idea why open source software projects use discord and slack.
Melbourne street fashion. Literally asian style pump flip flops with socks half way up your calves. 80s tracksuit baggies. Trying REALLY hard to look like they’re not trying. The city is loving it.
