To be fair many companies who said you have to return to work did this as they knew they had to do lay offs. It is cheaper if people just leave and you don’t have to pay a severance pay.

My guess is many of those protesters will have a choice of prison or Ukraine front lines.

This is one of the cases that I feel a government should be able to directly fine the higher ups in companies that are ignoring the sanctions. We are confiscating the Russian millionaires why not ours for the same crime.

That is just Ukraine kia of Russia troops, that doesn’t even count the wounded, killed in accidents, or the ones that Russia has killed. That number must be crazy high. In general you are looking a 1 kia for 3 wounded but some believe it’s higher in the Russian army because they don’t care about the lives of their troops.

Both sides have done horrible things and will keep doing horrible things. I wish I had a good answer but I don’t. The really shit part is this will make Ukraine suffer even more if Russian plan works gets focus away from Ukraine.
