if you refer to the hardware as “PC” then you are wrong, the OS utilizes the hardware and uses it. it cannot destroy it, and even if it could by using a lot of resources, “controlling” is the wrong word here. Microsoft owns the OS, not your computer and/or its hardware
I used to use it but then I just downloaded aria2 (what motrix is using) and it’s as fast as motrix with a little bit of configuration. aria2 supports both direct downloads and magnet links, it’s a command line tool though
I wouldn’t risk it personally. If you want to de-google your phone you should probably unlock the bootloader (you’ll lose all data) and flash a custom rom
Because you can install any apk you want so you can get apps from github/f-droid. on ios to sideload you need to do some stuff with itunes iirc
